Does anyone know Robert Johnson Coats from Wichita Falls, TX? He was born 7-4-44 and died 10-4-00.
He married and divorced Jeanne Merle Mitchell and had one child Michael Shane Coats who was given up for adoption. He later married Terry J. Davis (I believe they had 1 or 2 kids) and they divorced.
They both are buried in Wichita Falls at the Crestview Cemetery.
I have talked to his daughter but do not know how to contact her nor do I remember her name.
Please respond,
Jennifer

Also to let you all know...the name Coats was spelled Coats, Coates, Coate,
Cotes and Coots in some of the early records...so be aware of that...
In some documents in SC, in the same document you'll find it written as
Coats and Cotes...they used a phonetic spelling and apparently couldn't make
up their minds how they wanted to spell it...even in the same document!!
