Beginning March 2nd, 2020 the Mailing Lists functionality on RootsWeb will be discontinued. Users will no longer be able to send outgoing emails or accept incoming emails. Additionally, administration tools will no longer be available to list administrators and mailing lists will be put into an archival state.

Green Forrest, Arkansas, d. 3 Mar 2005 in Dumas, Moore, Texas.
Funeral services for Cleo Coatney, 84, were held Saturday, March
5, 2005, in the Temple Baptist Church of Dumas. Officiating was J
McGaughy, pastor.
Burial was in Dumas Cemetery.
Mr. Coatney died March 3, 2005, in Dumas.
Born July 31, 1920, in Green Forrest, Ark., he was a Dumas
resident since 1949.
He was a member of Temple Baptist Church of Dumas. He worked for
the sanitation department of the City of Dumas. He served in the
U.S. Army during World War II and received a purple heart.
He married Nadine Dainty on Sept. 20, 1941. She preceded him in
death on Nov. 3, 2001.
The family has requested memorials be made to a favorite charity.
Survivors include two daughters, Joyce and Archie Davis of
Metamora, Ill., and Donna and Jay Hardcastle of Brady; two sons,
Allen and Connie of Dumas and James and Medley Coatney of Sour
Lake; two sisters, Daisy Wallace of Goodman, Mo., and Rosie Ward
of Neodesha, Kan.; nine grandchildren, and six
great-grandchildren.
Morrison Funeral Directors of Dumas was in charge of funeral
arrangements.
