Beginning March 2nd, 2020 the Mailing Lists functionality on RootsWeb will be discontinued. Users will no longer be able to send outgoing emails or accept incoming emails. Additionally, administration tools will no longer be available to list administrators and mailing lists will be put into an archival state.
Administrators may save the emails in their list prior to March 2nd. After that, mailing list archives will remain available and searchable on RootsWeb
Hi everyone!
Just a quick update to let you know I have changed the list settings.
For quite some time, you have had to write the list address in the TO: line of every message you wanted to go to the whole list. That is no longer necessary. Now, whenever you hit "Reply", your messages should reply to the whole list, not just the person who wrote the message.
Due to some serious problems happening with a few other lists, we had the settings more closed for a while, to protect everyone from overloaded mailboxes. HOPEFULLY, those problems are no longer around and we can relax and enjoy helping each other find our ancestors.
May you all have a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!

Hi Everyone!
I told Lynda to write the COATNEY list about the LEWALLEN she is trying to find more on, because many of you are LEWALLEN descendants who might have helpful info for her. Below, I have included a tidbit (under her message) from an e-mail she sent me, that might be of interest to some of you.
May the season find you full of joy and good will toward others!
