Beginning March 2nd, 2020 the Mailing Lists functionality on RootsWeb will be discontinued. Users will no longer be able to send outgoing emails or accept incoming emails. Additionally, administration tools will no longer be available to list administrators and mailing lists will be put into an archival state.
Administrators may save the emails in their list prior to March 2nd. After that, mailing list archives will remain available and searchable on RootsWeb
I know Archibald was known as Coatney later in his life as he is my GG Grandfather. Does anyone connect to these names? Don Coatney

Hello all Coatney researchers;
My friend Ginger White and possible cousin and fellow
researcher is happy to assist. Enjoy, Don Coatney
Ginger; May I share this with the Coatney mailing list? Can I
share other
family names (Townsend, Hazzard, Morgan, etc) with the
appropriate mailing lists?
Thanks, Don
Don, Absolutely!! It's online at a couple of different
locations. Also, I'm happy to copy
pages from the original for them. Ginger ginger.white(a)att.net

This is a bit off the beaten path but when you need it you need
it. If you
have references to Easter, say "Easter 1840," and you wonder what
the date
is here's a way to find out.
