Wasn't this Walnut St? This is the Samuel that was the administrator for
Penn's estate when he died.

LINDA COATE,
P.O. Box 30871, Columbus, Ohio 43230:

There is a Thomas Coats in Cumberland County KY in 1820
family is: 3 males under 10; 1 male 25-44; 1 female under 10; 1 female 16-18;
There is one under # of foreigners but I think that must be wrong, the columns were hard to line up on these records...I think that one should be in occupation agriculture - in other words Thomas was a farmer...
second female his wife...that might be the wrong column as well...next column would be 1825...
It's late so I'll check it later...

I have found a Wm Coats in Bullitt County KY in the 1820 census...he is living alone and over 45 - occupation is farming...
There is also a Charles and Kinsey Coats in the 1820 Adair County KY census - don't recall the details off hand...
Bullitt county KY is NW of Madison/Lincoln/Fayette Counties area...don't recall where Adair county is off hand...
Anyone familiar with any of these?

Says, he already lived on the land...doesn't say where it is, but gives the adjoining land owners...Reves, Osborn and Sharpe...if I recall correctly Reves was a variation of Rees and the Rees name is in those Welsh quakers in PA...

Subject: Reeder and pitts info from Newberry co. S.C.
Hello , I just came across your web page and found family there. On the grantee list I found Simon Reeder who is my 4thgreat-grandfather. I am a DAR member because his son Micajah who was a patriot in the Revolutionalry war. I would like to know more about him Simon and his family.If you have any info I would appreciate hearing from you.
Also My other family name found there is William Pitts who I believe is also a great grandfather. I know the family moved there to Newberry co.and other Counties in S.C. from the Isle of Wight Co. Virginia. My great-great grandfather Elijah was born in Newberry Co. He moved to Overton Co. Tenn. by 1857 because his son Levi was born there in that year as recorded in his military records. Levi was my greatgrandfather. I am trying to make links of the Pitts family from the first pitts or Pitt in Virginia. I think it was Col. Robert Pitt but so far cannot prove this. Also, not sure if Henry Pitts who was Patriot was my ancestor. If you can shed any light on this I would be so grateful. Thanks Verna PittsGet more from the Web.
