Hi Mark,
I just happened across the following on the PEI Baptismal site:
Child's Name Birth Baptism Mother's Name Father's Name
Cody, Edward 8 Mar 1835 29 Mar 1835 Susan Panell Tobias Cody
Cody, Elin 7 Dec 1850 Susan Penal Tobias Cody
Cody, Martha 16 Jun 1833 Susan Pensal Tobias Cody
Cody, Mary 17 Jul 1831 5 Sep 1831 Susan Pannell Tobias Cody
Cody, Susan 19 Jan 1840 Susan Ponnel Tobias Cody
Cody, Tobias 8 July 184? Susanna Pernal Tobias Cody
You probably have all this info, but I found it interesting how many different ways Susan's name was spelled.
Keep in touch,
Jim

Hello,
I am just starting out on Ancestry. I am related to the Coady family from Edinburg, Litchfield, and Springfield, IL (and David, Iowa). I am slowly gathering info. Maybe some of my info can help. My e-mail is ajcoady(a)yahoo.com. I am interested in learning more if you have any information that can help me.

I have a RICHARD COADY and wife CATHERINE MOORE of Ireland.
Children of RICHARD COADY and CATHERINE MOORE are:
MICHAEL COADY, b. 1808, Ireland; d. 1873, Ontario, Canada.
Other siblings known are JOHN COADY, PATRICK COADY, and MARY COADY.
MICHAEL COADY (my ggg grandfather) came to N. America prior to the birth / christening of a son THOMAS COADY, b. September 16, 1842, Syracuse, N.Y. USA. The christening document names the witnesses as Thomas Coady (possibly a brother to Michael) and Bridget Hoolihan. Michael and Catherine made there home in Wellington County, Ontario, Canada. I am trying to find ships records and their home town in Ireland. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
Regards, Fred Coady
