I have an ANNIE WHITTY (died aft 1978) that married a WILLIAM COADY (b abt
1880 and died abt 1972). William and Annie had a daughter - ANASTASIA COADY
(born 1926). she is my mother - in - law. (lives in Texas) She married
ELMER LEE THOMPSON a military man stationed in NFLD in the 1950's. She then
moved to the USA. William and Annie also had other children:
Jim ( wife - Catherine Molloy)
Cathrine (never married)
Margaret (married a MURRAY)
Beth (married a GILLARD) had a son Robert and a son Billy
Gus (wife Gertie) (he is deceased) had twelve children
Mary (married a Maning)
according to Catherine - Annie's father was JAMES WHITTY. and she had a
sister named Anastasia (called Stash), and possibly another sister named
Ellen?
WILLIAM COADY's father was JAMES COADY and mother Susan? William had at least
2 brothers Jim and John (heard they came to the USA).
I would love to have any photos of graves, marriage dates, birth and death
dates, anything at all.....I don't have exact dates just approx. My mother
- in - law is having trouble with her memory......haven't been real
successful obtaining info....tidbits here and there. I understand there is a
Holy Trinity Roman Catholic Church in Torbay built in the 1830's. I wrote
them and haven't received a response.
anything at all you can tell me would be appreciated.
