We have a result from teh Perranarworthal Coads at last = which proves they are close relatives of the other Truro Miners, as we had always thought.
However, our triangulation on the ancient founders from the late 1500s is not working that well - in that the North Hill Coads seem to be much more distant relatives of the Coodes than they ought to be. We will push on with exploring this.

My 3xg grandmother is Dorcas Coad. Her daughter Catherine Coad 1820 married John David Emms (great Yarmouth mariner) . my grandmother was Catherine Maria Dorcas Emms who then married John Rowe Symons (mariner) . I have done a lot of research on the Symons family. Could you post a photo of Dorcas - is that possible - I would love to see it. Contact me at csetchell(a)gmail.com thanks
