To put discussions about the Peter Coad whose baptism in Feock on 20 March 1808 is no longer on the LDS site in the public domain, this is the gist of some correspondence.
In the 1851 census at 4 Rose Street, Covent Garden, London there is -
Peter Coad 34 born Feock
Elizabeth Coad wife 26 born Pimlico
Mary H. Coad 6 daughter born Pimlico
William H. Coad 3 months son - (born 12 December 1850, bap. 16 November 1851 St. Martin in the Fields to Peter and Betsey).
Visitors include Charles Rowe 34 and Robert Hanlin 21 both born Falmouth and unmarried.
(Peter Coad = Elizabeth Woolcock 10 August 1844 - Sep 1844 St. George Hanover Square 1 27)
In the 1871 census at Farringdon Street, London there is -
Richard H. Coad 28 born Pimlico
William H. Coad 20 cousin born Covent Garden
It is thought this Richard H. Coad was the son of Richard Coad bap. 1 May 1808 Feock and grandson of Peter Coad 1777 and Mary Behenna.
It is further thought that the Peter Coad aged 34 born Feock may have been older, but altered his age because he had a younger wife. It is therefore possible that he was in fact the son of Peter Coad 1777's brother Richard bap. 8 October 1774 Kenwyn and his wife Grace Cornew, who were married in Kea on 15 March 1808, having just one son called Peter born 27 February and baptised in Feock on 12 March 1809. This would make Richard H. Coad and William H. Coad cousins once removed.
The only problem with this theory is that in Richard's Will dated 17 February 1842 in Feock he leaves everything to his wife Grace with no mention of a son or grandchildren! I do not have a copy of Grace's Will in 1850.
Well well!
The familiy is in the US census 1900-1940. This is the granddaughter of
Richard A Coad born 1839 England and his wife Lottie E Woods. They both
married for the second time in 1898.
This gives every appearance of being Richard Avery Coad who emigrated to
Victoria with his St Dominick Cornwall family in 1850. He is supposed to
have died 12/3/1889 Ararat Vic. His family remained in Victoria and his
first wife Sarah Jane Turner, who was also much younger than him, is
supposed to have died in Moyston Vic 1948. He had a grandaughter Vola Coad
(sounds familiar) who wrote a book about the family - unfortunately she
passed away recently so I cant check with her
In 1900 says he arrived 1869, but no sign of him in any earlier census.
Rocky Mountain High! Lively old geezer, comes back from the dead, crosses
the ocean and fathers a second dynasty on a widder woman in remote Montana.

Joe, This is Peg Cicirelli. YOu've not heard from me for quite a while.
LONG story! My brother, did, in deed, have his DNA tested - nearly two
years ago. But, I was very ill with chemotherapy poisoning. Hopefully, I
can get back to some Genealogy. Can you help me on how I go about checking
the results, to see if we tie to any of the Coads/Coades/Coodes.... that
you've been working on or know about?
Thanks loads,
Margaret (Coad) Cicirelli
