Dear Geraldine and Coad Listers:
Back in June/July 2000, Gerry replied to a query I had placed on the web. Her Coad ancestors had lived in Ontario but she did not have much information about the Cornwall ancestors.
In August 2001, she sent a message to the Coad List to which I replied with some ideas where to look for her ancestors.
Today she sent me the message below. Her William is not part of the Coad family I have details for, but thought there might be a Lister out in internet land that might have him in their family tree.
Good Luck Gerry

Hello Keith, I have finally been able to track down my Coads from St. Ewe ,Cornwall, England.I tought you might be interested.
I have William born 1844 St. Ewe, Cornwall, Son of John Coad Born 1817 St. Ewe, Cornwall and his wife Caroline born 1823 St. Mewan, Cornwall. There were 2 girls and 6 sons, all carpenters.
William came to Canada at 25 and settled in Oshawa, Ontario. He is buried in the Oshawa Union Cemetery.
