Dear Subscribers,
I will be going in hospital tomorrow and will be out of touch for a few

Looking for info on Sarah Ann Coad(e) who married John S. Emerson(Emmerson) in 1818 in Alexandria, VA. Sarah was born in 1801 in St. Mary's County, MD. Know nothing about her parents etc.
Hi -
It has been a while since I have submitted anything here. I am sorting out
my emails (a major task) and saw this one and thought it might be of
interest to someone on the list (see below)
I have been busy doing some genealogy, but on my Mother's side of the
family. Her last name is Zinckgraf. On a whim I sent out an email to two
people who had been corresponding a few years back. Assuming the worst, that
the emails would no longer be active, I expected not to hear anything back.
But, both people responded and now my family tree on this side extends back
to the 1300's in Germany whereas we had been stumped with my great ggg
grandfathers parents in the 1700's. A lot of information that I had gathered
had proved correct and now I have two new distant cousins. So the moral of
this story is -- don't be afraid to contact someone - you might end up with
a lot of information.
Now, we have to find the parents of Robert COAD b 1701 and tie him in with
Ed, Nigel and Keith's tree!
Happy hunting
Regards
Beth

Pat and Mike,
Yes this is really interesting because of our links to the St Ive Coads.
I'll send a family tree and report to you in 'Rich Text' at your own email
address as this forum is apparently unable to deal with that format.

Peter and Jenny (nee Coad) Thomas

Is that location definitely St Ives, or could it be St Ive? You see many of
our Coads came from St Ive, near Pensilva, Cornwall, and we have some
information about that branch of the family that might be useful to you.

Is anyone related to a Sydney James COAD born about 1880. Some descendants of the family lived in St Ives Cornwall for many years. Have had an inquiry from a friend and Sydney James is his grandfather.
