Sandy, George Clymer the Signer was an only child, so it is hard to believe that he had a niece with the Clymer surname.
There were several Klemmer families in Philadelphia at the ssame time and that family name seems to have devolved into CClymer, so it is possible that your Great Grandmother is of that family. There is a generational problem as well. If your your Great Grandmother were a niece, then your GG Grandfather would have been a brother to George and this puts you five generations from the revolution. This is possible, but not likely. Most of the Signers descendants rrange from six to eleven generations. But keep up the search.

My Maternal Great Grandmother was La Anna Clymer. She told me once that She was a niece of George Clymer as well. I am also trying to connect the dots. My mother does not know much of the family history and I know that she has a sister Thelma. I would also like to find out more if possible. Have you been able to uncover more information?
Sandy
