I am a descendant of one of those Clymers. These Clymers trace back to John Clymer, who arrived in The Colonies as an indentured servant in 1689. They are not related to the Clymer who signed the Declaration; although they did reside in Maryland (Talbot, Queen Anne, Allegany, and Dorchester Counties) before migrating into Fairfield County, Ohio and then into Hancock. Hope that answers your question; and I hope you are not too disappointed. Take care.
