Hi,
Several emails dated 29 Jan 2006 referred to descendants of George Clymer,
the Signer of the Declaration of Independence. I have been trying to connect
an Isaac Clymer to this George Clymer. Isaac was born about 1795 and was
married to Mary Havens by 1819. They had 6 children. The child I am
interested in is Annis Clymer. She was born 18 Feb 1820 in either New York
or New Jersey. Annis married William Russell in Lenawee County, MI on 13 Jul
1838. Does anyone have the names of Isaac Clymer's parents?

The signer of what? the Dec. of Independence?
It's difficult to tell you which direction to take when no one knows where
you are at this point in your research. Would you please send more info so
the knowledgeable Clymer researcher can help you?

Robert Valentine Clymer was my great-grandfather through my grandmother Martha Susan. Her sister was my great aunt Sarah. She and Henry Vancil were killed in a car wreck in Wichita Falls, Texas. Robert was married to Elizabeth Perkins in Hart County, KY and they had 8 children. Elizabeth died after the 8th child, Philip, was born. Robert then took the children and went to Joplin, MO where he married Sarah Margaret Hines and they had 8 children. Robert died in Wichita Falls, TX in 1936 and is buried in Stephens County, OK
