This site allows rootsweb mail list subscribers to register (globally) their old or new or changing email addresses. If you wish to
register there whenever you have a change of email address you can change it at this site and it will take care of changing the
email addresses to all the lists you subscribe to...........halleujah!

On many lists I am see a resurgence of some of the hoax'es that are continually perpetuated on our lists.
Three of the most used hoax'es are: sulfnbk (a warning to remove it from your system); jbgmgr.exe (another warning to remove from
your system) and the insertion of !0000 or AAAAA to your address book to prevent spreading of worm/trojan/virus.
If you would like information please visit your software manufacturer.
Even tho. rootsweb mail lists cannot transfer them many will confiscate your address book and mail to all addresses there.
Another thing to remember is that many of these can move themselves around in your hard drives(s) and may take awhile to rear its
ugly head.
Please keep your anti-virus software up to date.

From the list manager of Arkansas-L. A GOOD link.
The following is a WONDERFUL site, and would be most useful in researching
old documents!
Thanks to all involved in this!

Von Stachon recently transcribed about 600 court records, deeds and wills
for several counties in Virginia. She made images of many of the common
words found in these old documents, and has prepared a table showing the
image of the handwriting with the transcribed word. This table may be
found at:

You might try Wharton Dickinson's "Genealogical Notes" LDS film 0517081; page 1 lists 3 children of Richard Clymer who comes to Philadelphia in 1705; Christopher, father of George, William, and Margaret (called Ann elsewhere?) who died unmarried. The note on William says see page 4, which I didn't copy, because I wasn't directly related to that line.
Most societies say you must be directly descended, not just related to join through the individual.
