Beginning March 2nd, 2020 the Mailing Lists functionality on RootsWeb will be discontinued. Users will no longer be able to send outgoing emails or accept incoming emails. Additionally, administration tools will no longer be available to list administrators and mailing lists will be put into an archival state.
Administrators may save the emails in their list prior to March 2nd. After that, mailing list archives will remain available and searchable on RootsWeb

William D. Moyer Jr.
William D. Moyer Jr., 79, of Lansdale died Sept. 23 in his home. He was
married to Florence (Kramer) Moyer. He was an installer for Bell Telephone
for more than 30 years before retiring. After retiring, he did telephone
work for Merck & Co. Born in Lansdale, he was a son of the late William D.
Sr. and Minerva (Clymer) Moyer. He was a member and usher of St. John's
United Church of Christ, Lansdale. He was an Army veteran of World War II,
serving in Normandy, northern France, the Rhineland and Central Europe, and
receiving four Bronze Stars. He was a member of Shiloh Masonic Lodge 558,
Lansdale, and the Lehigh Consistory, Allentown. He was a life member of
Moose Lodge 1539, Sellersville, and a member of La Crest Health Club,
Lansdale. Survivors: Wife; son, Robert J. of San Antonio, Texas; daughters,
Mary E. Fell of Quakertown, Patricia A. Williams of Sellersville; sisters,
Pauline Dove of Pleasanton, Calif., Emily M. Warren of St. Louis Park,
Minn., Janice M. Pankey of Lansdale; five grandchildren, 11
great-grandchildren. Services: 10 a.m. Saturday, Huff & Lakjer Funeral Home,
Derstine and Cannon avenues, Lansdale. Call 9-10 a.m. Saturday.
Contributions: To the church.

Jean A. Bartholomew
Jean A. Bartholomew, 78, of Allentown, died Sept. 23 in the Inpatient
Hospice Unit at Lehigh Valley Hospital, Allentown. She was the wife of
Russell R. Bartholomew, who died in 1995. She was secretary to the
controller of the former Merchants National Bank, Allentown, for 23 years
before retiring in 1987. Previously, she was a secretary for Redeemer
Lutheran Church, Allentown, for 15 years. Born in Allentown, she was a
daughter of the late Harry H. and Vera N. (Fairchild) Clymer. She was a
member of Greenawalds United Church of Christ. Survivors: Son, Brock R. of
Wescosville; sisters, Erma K. Wolf of Allentown, SuAnne F. Holt of Grand
Rapids, Mich.; two grandchildren, two great-grandchildren. Services: 10 a.m.
Saturday, Stephens Funeral Home, 1335-37 Linden St., Allentown. Call 9-10
a.m. Saturday. Contributions: Lehigh Valley Hospice, Allentown.
