My g grandmother Rosa Lee Clymer b.1886 in N.C. and her sister Annie Clymer and a brother Benjiman Clymer lived in or around the Black Mountain N.C. area and were orphaned after the wagon her family was traveling in turned over crossing a river. All i know about her family is they were from N.C. and she had an uncle named John and an aunt named Emma and a friend named Carl Curley from Black Mountain to whom she married after the death of my g grandaddy Rob Howard in 1951. She and her sister was sent to an orphanage in Greenwood S.C. for a short time and from there they moved to Ft. Myers Florida where she met my g grandaddy Rob Howard .As far as I know none of her and her sister Annie's family ever came to see them down here and we never knew any of the rest of our Clymer family from N.C. and have been in search for them For many years with no luck as of yet . Saw your post on John Climer from N.C. and just thought i would pass my info on to you . My g grandmother spe!
lled her name (Clymer) but have seen a record where her sister's name was spelled (Climer) .The names of her and my ggrandaddy's children were Hickman,Seth,Alonzo,Wendell,Woodrow and there daugther Almeda .I would be grateful to you for any infomation if you find that these families are related . Thank You
Robert L.Howard

Judy,
I was wondering if you know of a Martha Taylor Clymer b.1807-8-possibly a product of the union of family members of signers Geo. Clymer and Goe. Taylor. Is this possible? She married Chauncey R. Ward in 1827 in either NY, OH, or IA. Thanks for yur help!
