Why wouldn't William's descendants be related to "The" George if William was "The" George's uncle? If you have any information on William's descendants, I am very interested. Will you supply that information?
Thanks, Darris Gayle

Sorry - I misstate. George had a sister Elizabeth who died 1739 or 40. Mother died when he was an infant and father when he was 7, raised by mother's sister and her husband. The William I mentioned was his father Christopher's brother, married Ann Judith Roberdeau, and had descendants - still no relation to George the signer

Judy:
I may be very interested in knowing what you know about William Clymer's descendant. However, I thought The George was an only child, and an orphan, raised by his mother's people. Correct me please if I am wrong. However, I am interested in William's descendant, if you don't mind, please.

hi Judy, I thought I would direct my question to you since you seem to have done alot of research on the Clymer line. My family also claims they are related to George Clymer could this be possible? My line is as follows...
Rebecca Rightley Harrison Johnson -grandmother
Her mother Jennie Coates Rightley
Her father ? Rightley
Then they said it goes to Bishop family line and then George Clymer....not sure if that was through Rebecca's father or mothers family. Hope this can give you a clue into the connection being correct or not. Thanks Renee

Hello again,
Since my last query of Martha Taylor Clymer I have received a document stating her father was John Clymer born in PA moving to Berkley, WVA then to Ross Cty, Ohio in 1816 where he died in 1852. He married Elizabeth Bleeds(Bleads). Hopefully someone can help me with this John.
Thank you, Rachel
