Looks to me as though I should begin with a search for an obit notice out of Springfield MA in 2002 for Elizabeth Wallace or for her husband Munson Wallace there, in 1971. I assume that if they had children, same would be noted in the Obit. If her brother Remsen Ackerman is buried alone at Mount Olivet in Philly as an obvious US Navy vet, MAYBE he never married nor had children.

and PS - please tell me the how-to of how I would access your Rootsweb page, database rec19128. I'm pretty much an amateur at doing this kind of thing.

I don't know if Elizabeth born 1903 or brother Remsen C Ackerman (1898/1899-1960) had children. Remsen appears to have been buried alone at Mt Moriah Cemetery in Philadelphia
in the Naval section. I also assumed that the Elizabeth Wallace who died in Springfield MA in 2002 was Elizabeth Clyde which is where Munson Wallace died in 1971 (SSDI). Elizabeth 1903's father was the brother of my great grandfather. I'm updating my Rootsweb page today so the info on Elizabeth should show up in 48 hours. It is database rec19128.

I agree that this APPEARANCE appears to be a proper connection, and wonder if you have identified, or tracked, or know of, any children or grandchildren of Elizabeth CLYDE Ackerman and Munson Wallace, and who may be living today? Elizabeth CLYDE Wiseman, who evidently passed away in 2002, is the only (other) descendant of Susan CLYDE Wiseman McCord, aside from myself and my own family, that I've come across, and who was living recently. As "Clyde" cousins, we had that connection. If you wish to respond privatley to me, I can be found at "wilso127(at)yahoo.com.
Thanks!

Albert Ackerman was married to Elizabeth Wiseman about 1897. Their dau Elizabeth Clyde Ackerman (1903-2002) married in 1932 Munson Wallace in NYC. She APPEARS to be the Elizabeth age 5 in the household of David and Mary Wiseman in the 1880 Newburgh census.
