> Hello Regan,
It took me a while to find the Clyde stuff with the names you mentioned.
What I found in the past was from an 1988 IGI from the Later Day Saints; it
lists an Edward the son of John and Isabella Laird Clyde, born 1862. Some of
his siblings are George, 1866; Isabella Carolina, 1868; Jennie, 1861; all
but Isabella were born in Tudlpine, Sonora, she is listed in Siskiyou,
Yreka. These names are so similar to the ones you are looking for, but I
found that a bunch of names go in circles and just when you think you've
found one, you get hung up. One of the reasons that I kept this info is
that I'm looking for an Isaac Clyde the husband of Eliesha and the son of
John and Isabella Boyd Clyde in IL. Some others listed are Wm. Robert, who
married Frances Haws 1884 , San Bernadino and Harry Schley m. Eliz Justine
Kowallis 1925, Almeda Berkeley. This latter one I think, is in the line
that appears on their own web page. I hope this is of some help, I've never
found any connection to the Clydes in IL. Isaac was the only one to move to
the west and so far never found in any records. Hope to talk to you again,
Martha
PS I have McClearys in the IN, IL too.
