Beginning March 2nd, 2020 the Mailing Lists functionality on RootsWeb will be discontinued. Users will no longer be able to send outgoing emails or accept incoming emails. Additionally, administration tools will no longer be available to list administrators and mailing lists will be put into an archival state.
Administrators may save the emails in their list prior to March 2nd. After that, mailing list archives will remain available and searchable on RootsWeb
Joel "Joe" Clyburn, 73, of Fries, died Saturday, May 4, 2002, at his home.
He was born Jan. 10, 1929, in Grayson County to Grover and Flora Phibbs
Clyburn.
Survivors include his wife, Opal Vaughan Clyburn of the home; a daughter
and son-in-law, Nancy and Joseph Leigh of Bassett; two sons and
daughters-in-law, Charlie and Mary Clyburn and Bobby Joe and JoAnn
Clyburn, all of Fries; three sisters, Lesie Taylor and Neddie hall, both
of Fies and Dori Hawkins of Galax; two brothers, Daniel Clyburn of Fries
and Jerry Clyburn of Marion; five grandchildren; and several nieces and
nephews.
A funeral was held Monday at Fries Church of God of Prophecy with burial
in the Mount Hope Cemetery. The Revs. Lacy King and Gene Bledsoe officiated.
Vaughan-Guynn Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
