Beginning March 2nd, 2020 the Mailing Lists functionality on RootsWeb will be discontinued. Users will no longer be able to send outgoing emails or accept incoming emails. Additionally, administration tools will no longer be available to list administrators and mailing lists will be put into an archival state.
Administrators may save the emails in their list prior to March 2nd. After that, mailing list archives will remain available and searchable on RootsWeb
I recently reposted my CLUTTERBUCK details to soc.genealogy.surnames and got
back the following which may be of interest to someone.

Yes Robin, that was the baptism I thought was originally my Hannah's but
further research revealed that there seemed to be TWO families having
children at the same time in the same area - one lot with parents John
Clutterbuck and Sarah (maiden name unknown) and another family with parents
John Clutterbuck and Sarah (maiden name Dowman). Some Clutterbuck
researchers treat them as one family & others are adamant they are two
separate couples as the names John, Sarah and Clutterbuck were all so
common! So I didn't know which Sarah was the mother of the Hannah shown
below which you found on the IGI. Because the 1820 marriage certificate to
Isaac Smith did not show any parents details I thought the witness named
William Clutterbuck was a clue I should pursue. However a William does not
appear in the children you listed below of "a" John and Sarah. Looks like
I'm at a dead end in getting further back but you are probably right that
my Hannah is the daughter of "a" John Clutterbuck with a wife Sarah.
Many thanks for your help.

Hi Len,
I've been in contact with Victor Paul before and have also seen The
Clutterbuck Book. I notice you're in Australia. One copy is held by the
Adelaide library and I borrowed it through inter-library loan. But I still
couldn't sort out where my Hannah fitted in.
I did receive an email from another man whose ancestor was a William
Clutterbuck born about 5 years before my Hannah and he also married in
Dursley as she did. So that sounds promising as a possible brother of
Hannah's being the witness at her wedding. Just have to prove it somehow!
I really appreciated your assistance and thanks for the geography lesson -
that was truly helpful.
Best wishes,
Valerie Wotton
