Beginning March 2nd, 2020 the Mailing Lists functionality on RootsWeb will be discontinued. Users will no longer be able to send outgoing emails or accept incoming emails. Additionally, administration tools will no longer be available to list administrators and mailing lists will be put into an archival state.
Administrators may save the emails in their list prior to March 2nd. After that, mailing list archives will remain available and searchable on RootsWeb

I just looked up John Clutter at the DAR Library in DC today. I too am trying to find him. I see the Bath Co. info. I'm wondering if he is the John Clutter who married Catherine Sarah Wilson in Monongalia Co. in 1816. I am descended from one of their children, Martha Diadema Clutter Ocheltree. I sent off to the WV Archives to ask them to do a search for this man. I don't know if they will find anything or not. His father, Jacob Clutter, was in Hampshire Co. during the American Revolution. John is supposed to be from Rockbridge Co.VA, but I'm not sure if that is correct. Have you found out more about him since you posted your query? Ann Powers
