I am with the WV Division of Highways, and looking for any of the heirs of Ann Nancy (Linthicum) Clutter (May 11, 1788 - March 31, 1855 from Monument) although Death records Hardy County has date March 9, 1855. She was daughter of Archibald and Nancy(Leeke) Linthicum, Hampshire County. She married Joseph P. Clutter (January 11, 1790 - Sept. 18, 1852), son of Jacob and CAtherine (McElwee) Clutter in or about 1804. In 1850 Census for Hamsphire Joseph was 80 and listed as farmer.
According to Will of Joseph P. Clutter he and said Ann Nancy Clutter had 10 children:
Joseph Clutter (b. 1805, married Susanna Albin)
Peggy Ann Clutter (b. 1807, never married)
Harriett Rozanne Clutter (b. ca. 1809/1810 m. Wm Duling,Sr)
Nancy Clutter (Jan 9, 1816- Aug.15,1865) married Sylvester
Valentine Rudolph (Feb 23,1818- Jun 23,1908)
Rebecca C. Clutter (b. Jun.8, 1817, married ______ Rudolph)
Margaret J. Clutter (b.ca. 1820, married Amos Anderson
Mary Clutter (b.ca. 1823, buried in Duling Cemetery #1)
SARAH CLUTTER (b. Nov.1,1824, Married Archilles Duling, Jr.
in ca. 1850 and are listed with 6 children)
Eliza F. Clutter (ca. Sept.30, 1827- Apr.21, 1902, married
Samuel W. Davis)
Caroline Clutter (b.ca. 1831, married John Abraham Kline)
The reason I am looking for heirs is that this burial site is located north of Greenland, Grant County,on New Creek Mtn. and is in path of Coridor H construction and as a result graves will have to be relocated. My phone is 304.558.9338 or ikapp(a)dot.state.wv.us.
