Hello Kimberly,
I would be interested in what you have on the first Clutter to immigrate
from Germany. My ancestor settled in Oklahoma.
Thanks,
Carol Bradbury

Hello
Your ggreat grandfather is my 3rd ggrand uncle. My grandfather is Lawrence Edward Clutter(s), his father is Edward D. Clutters; and the father of Edward is Wayne Clutters.
I have not been able to find much out about this side of the Clutter family. I do know that most settled on Ohio, you must already know that.
But as I was looking for your answer in my records I noticed that Jerome Clutter is buried in Woodlawn Cem. Coal Grove, Ohio; and Templeton who married Mary Anns sister Margaret is buried in South Point, Ohio. If that area doesn't pan out try Washington County Ohio, or Lawrence Co., Ohio.
I would be very interested in anything you might have on John T Clutter's children including Andrew. I have alot of info including the first Clutter Immigrant "Casper Ian Clattre" (that is the original spelling when Casper came here from Germany) and would love to share what I have.
Hope this helps you find Andrew.
Sincerely
Kimberly Smith Rutledge
