I saw your posting and wondered if your Clutter line is part of my Clutter line. My great-great-great grandfather was Templeton Clutter who was married to Margaret Keigley. They had 7 children, one of whom was a William Clutter born 1864. I have no further information on William, as with several other children. Do you have a date of birth for your William?
I'd be interested in knowing if it is the same line.

My great-grandmother was Martha Adelia Clutter. She was born in Toledo, Ohio on Jan 06, 1875. Her family came from Pennsylvania. Her mother's name was Liza PEOPLES. Her father's first name is unknown. Delia had two sisters and a brother: Mary, Bell and David Clutter.. Her mother married a second time to a man with the last name WOLFE, then had at least 2 other boys (names unknown).
Delia married Rolland Elvester WATTS in Montana Territory in 1889 just before it became a state.
Do we somehow have a connection here? Your reply is greatly appreciated.

The LDS sight is run by the Mormon (Latter Day Saints) Church. It can be found at:
http://www.familysearch.org
These sound like some of the Clutters in my files. Although the following family lists no Bertha, I have found some odd nicknames among my families. I wonder if Bertha might have been called Lizzie.
My connection is pretty distant. My g-g-g-g-grandfather was Christopher Wolfe. These families were all in Greene and Washington County, PA.
