Karen, very possible that William J. is one and the same, as our William married in Kentucky, Maysville. I am confused as to his father, tho, as some say William, and one source says Henry. Do you have parents of Willaim that married Charity Drake Runyon? Notice my change of Email address. too! Thanks, Donna

My great-great grandfather, George Clutter, has been a mystery to me. His son sited Stephen Clutter (of Greenbrier County and later Braxton County WV) as the father of George. However, George was not in the census with Stephen and his wife. George used the last names Cutlip and Clutter with both names appearing on a receipt for the coffin for his daughter.
A fellow researcher had posed the theory that my George Clutter was the son of Timothy and Anne Clutter of Pocahontas County. Recently, Randy Leekley provide the following cemetery information, which disproved the Timothy Clutter paternity theory. I greatly appreciate Mr.Leekley's kindness and assistance.
Also, some time ago I had coresponded with a Clutter researcher who wanted to see what had happened to Timothy and Anne Clutter's children.
