NONAGENARIAN COUPLE WEDDED SIXTY-SIX YEARS
WASHINGTON, Pa., April 4, 1907-- With a record not ecliped by another couple in Greene County, Mr. and Mrs. ABRAHAM CLUTTER of near Wind Ridge have resided together 66 years. Although both are nearly 90 years of age, they are hale and hearty and enjoy the best of health.
Mr. and Mrs. Clutter were married on January 12, 1842, by the Rev. James Smith, and since that time have lived happily together. Sixteen years ago they celebrated the fiftieth anniversary of their marriage and each year since have held a celebration. They are now planning how they will celebrate their sixty-seventh anniversary.
Mr. Clutter, who will celebrate his eighty-sixth birthday next month, was born May 19, 1822, in Morris township. He is the son of WILLIAM CLUTTER, who came from Germany among the early settlers of this county.
Mrs. Clutter, who is 84 years of age, was born in Greene County, November 16, 1824, and is a daughter of JOHN MEEKS, who settled on Raff's Creek during the early development of that county.
Mr. and Mrs. Clutter have resided on the farm the greater portion of their life. For seven years they conducted a boarding house in Washington. Mr. Clutter is a staunch Democrat. Both are members of the Disciple Church.
To Mr. and Mrs. Clutter were born 11 children, nine of whom are living and who are scattered in all parts of the Unites States. They are JOHN W. CLUTTER, ANDREW J. CLUTTER, GEORGE W. CLUTTER, Mrs. B.F. TEMPLE, Mrs. W.H. RONEY, Mrs. F. DANLEY, MILES CLUTTER, ABRAHAM JUDSON CLUTTER, Mrs. N.G. DUNKLE........
END
Mrs. B.F. (Benjamin) Temple was Mary Jane Clutter.
Mrs. F. (John) Danley/Donley was Rachel Clutter.
Miles Clutter was Frank Miles Clutter.

I would like the Clutter publication also. I am researching the Clutters and have gotten back to William J Clutter in KY. I can't seem to find his parents and the publication might help. Plus my grandmothers sisters, Flora and Jessie were farmed out when their parents died and I'm looking for relatives of theirs.
