Beginning March 2nd, 2020 the Mailing Lists functionality on RootsWeb will be discontinued. Users will no longer be able to send outgoing emails or accept incoming emails. Additionally, administration tools will no longer be available to list administrators and mailing lists will be put into an archival state.
Administrators may save the emails in their list prior to March 2nd. After that, mailing list archives will remain available and searchable on RootsWeb

Mrs. Almeda O. Clutter Chess, 76, of Highland avenue, Claysville, died
at 4:30 p.m. Monday, Oct. 10, 1966, in the Arbpgast Boarding Home, Beech
Bottom, W.Va., after a long illness.
Mrs. Chess was born March 20, 1890, in Greene County, a daughter of Henry
C. and Bertha (Swart) Clutter. She was a member of Claysville Baptist Church.
She was married Nov. 6, 1907, to Jonas B. Chess, who survives. They would
have celebrated their 59th wedding anniversary in November.
Also surviving are eight children, Blaine, West Alexander, R.D.; Fern,
wife of Samuel Mack, Beech Bottom, WVa.; Robert, Claysville; Gertrude,
wife of William Kimberland, St. Mary's Ga.; Arthur, Claysville; Martha,
wife of Earl Beattie, Claysville; Ray, Fairmont, W.Va.; and Joseph, Kailua,
Hawaii; one sister, Mrs. Elsie Phillips, Time; one brother, Cecil Clutter,
Nineveh; 26 grandchildren and 22 great-grandchildren.
