Beginning March 2nd, 2020 the Mailing Lists functionality on RootsWeb will be discontinued. Users will no longer be able to send outgoing emails or accept incoming emails. Additionally, administration tools will no longer be available to list administrators and mailing lists will be put into an archival state.
Administrators may save the emails in their list prior to March 2nd. After that, mailing list archives will remain available and searchable on RootsWeb

Yes, it's a "worm virus" called "W32.NewApt.Worm". You can read about it
at: http://stuart.messagemates.com/notice.htm or

This was posted to another list concerning the virus:
This was sent to another list.

I forgot I was on this list. I subscribed then left on vacation.
Not 1 email has been posted. So this will be a test run.
I descend John CLUTTER b. 1745 + Ruth WADE
Phoebe CLUTTER + Daniel WINGET
None of the CLUTTER information is mine. I have various emails from
CLUTTER researcher such as the one below.
I'm still working on the WINGET side and will share what I have
documented.

John CLATTRE was a minor at the 1748 making of the Bucks Co PA will of
his father. He is undoubtedly the John CLUTTER (1745-1832) buried at Mt.
Hermon Bapt. Cem. in Amwell Twp, Washington Co PA. He appears in Morris
co NJ records from 1766 through 1772, marrying there in 1767 Ruth WADE.
He served in the Rev. War from Sussex Co NJ, residing in PA when he
enlisted. They moved to Washington Co PA about 1780, where they
remained. His probate record there shows his heirs: Naohdiah (b. abt
1769), deceased, John, Jr. (b. 1771), William (b. 1774), Samuel (b. abt
1789), Eunice MINTON, Elizabeth AXTELL, Phoebe WINGET, Sarah KLINE,
deceased, Mary CASTERLINE, Mrs. Ephraim DILLE and Mrs. George BANE.
I'm hoping this list is still up and running.
