Thanks for trying Stephanie. You were trying to help me find Richard about 9 yrs ago. Maybe that is why your notes have him. Emily remaried in 1864 so if Richard remarried he could be anywhere with any wife. Wibur's census' say his father was born in NY,PA,& OH. I need to connect Richard to wife Emily Butler or son Wilbur in the 1850's in either MI or WI. If course, that was before records were kept. A Richard Clute got a land grant in Adams Co. near Mauston, WI in 1860, but I can find nothing in census or anything else. Suggestions are welcome. It is good hearing from you again.

I have notes on Wilbur, along with his mother Emily, but just a penciled note that his father could be Richard.. Richards.. Richard born ca. 1826 and Emma born ca 1831 are in St Lawrence,NY in 1880.All of the rest of the Richards of the right age are associated with a wife, not any version of Emily..

In addition, Rueben and Margarett are next to Dinah and Asa in the Fairmount Cemetery in what looks like a family plot.

I am trying to find any vital records, such as bible entries, public town records and the like, that link Asa, Maria and Lucy Clute. I would also like to find tracable information for the parents of the Clutes.
Asa married Dinah Howland.
Lucy married Jerome Howland.
Maria married Abner Howland.
Abner and Jerome were brothers of Dinah Howland and all were the children of Reuben Howland and Margaret Spooner.

Asa, Dinah, Reuben and margaret are buried in:

It was not uncommon for families to inter marry in that time frame
Thanks for any help.....
