Sorry, I clicked on a reply to quite a different query and somehow it came up on yours.
I have Three Theodore Clute in my failes.. Theodore, born ca. 1794, who married a Plumma(?) and had Martine Van Buren, 1833, Puch, Peter, Matilda, Theodore, Alvira, Marietta and Edwin. Then a Theodore who9 married Libbie and ended up in Wisconsin and a Theodore who was the son of Nicholas Clute and Mary Well and was born 11 April 1861 in Ohio.

This Gerardus( Gerrit) is the son of Johannes Clute and Catherine Lansing. He was born in August 1755 and died 6 Oct 1841 in Home, NY. He marrieid twice.. Sarah Abel, died 1806 and Catherine Sheer who first husband was Maus Van Den Bergh. All of the children were Sarahs.. Jacob, Catherine, John, Adam, Abtaham, Maria, Derick, Sarah, Rachel, Jeremiah, Henry and Lana. The children were baptised in a variety of places.. Some Schenectrady, some Schaighticoke, etc. Which child are you interested in?
