Bernie Wideman,
My daughter, Nana Elliott, the niece of the Nana you knew, saw your post and forwarded it to me. Thank you for your thoughts. I spoke briefly at Nanas memorial service and said almost exactly your line about her smile and enthusiasm. You can only imagine how hard reading the letter hit me.
I do not remember your visit to Dundee. Perhaps I was at the boychoir camp that summer. The old K boat is long gone and I have finally parted with a 1970 21 foot Santana that Nana and I sailed for a time, but at my age, a Sunfish on Seneca Lake is a heck of a lot of fun.
Thank you for you condolences.
Warren H. Elliott

Alwilda Clute was my great grandmother. My father is Edwin Davison (parents Lester Davison & Mary Wadsworth Davison). My grandfather, Lester, died when my dad was 1-2 years old and Alwilda adopted him. We have been trying to find out who Alwilda's father was. Lucinda Flansburgh-Rhodes-Velieux was her mother. Unable to find any information on "Clute". The Census also show a Charles and John Clute in the family; brothers I believe.
