Lisbon Cemetery:
James Clunk d. 1910, his wife Harriet Carlile Clunk d. 1932,
John's father Anthony Clunk d. May 1845, I'm not sure if he is buried there,
but his wife Anna Elizabeth Elder Clunk is. She died June 10, 1873.
According to info we have passed around John Clunk & Julia A. Kibler Clunk
are buried in Gaskill Cemetery. Is that close? John died. 8-9-1901 & Julia
Kibler Clunk died 9-16-1884.
Are you going to Salem? My great grandmother, James & Harriet Clunk's
daughter is buried there. Her death cert. said Grandview Cemetery, Salem,
OH. Her name was Mary Adda Clunk, Burrows, Cole, Webb b. 4-27-1875 d.
1-19-1948. I assume she is buried as Mary Webb, since that was her name at
the time of death.
I'll pay for prints if you can get them for me.
XO to all
Peggy
P.S. Claudette, I'm working on a DAR application for Charles Elder the
grandfather of Anna Elizabeth Elder. He was from Montgomery Co., MD and

Anthony Clunk d. May 1845. We have as sources: Joseph's Pension File (does
anyone have a copy of it where it might mention Anthony's (his fathers)
death. We also have York Co. Deed Book 3U, page 389. don't know what this
has to do with Anthony's death, but could use a copy of it if it makes any
sense to the death date.
Anna Elizabeth Elder Clunk d. June 10, 1873 It is listed in the Lisbon
Cemetary Records as Sec 4, Sourth side Row 27, does anyone have this page,
plus I need the face sheet of the book to let them know where the info came
from.
Julia A. Kibler Clunk & John Clunk deaths are listed in Columbiana Co.
Cemetery Inscriptions Vol. 4, page 352, 353. Gaskill Cemetery, Center Twsp.
Does anyone have this as well as the book cover sheet.
DAR is really sticky about have the cover sheet of the book that the info
comes from, so if you have any of the info I need that coversheet if you have
it.
Sorry to be such a pest, but would like to qualify for DAR & this may be my
only chance.
Peggy
Just got back from Washington DC & am trying to qualify as a member for DAR
with Peter Klunk Jr.
I need some help. 1. Does anyone have a photocopy of the will of Peter Klunk
Jr. that is on microfilm in Salt Lake City? I need a copy of it. 2. Need a
copy of the birth record of John Clunk, son of Anthony & Anna Elizabeth
Elder. It is suppose to be in Conswega Chapel Birth Records Vol. 1, page
172. 3. Need a copy of Marriage Record of Anthony Clunk & Anna Elizabeth
Elder. It is suppose to be in Conswega Church Marriage Records v. 1, page
241 4. Need death record of Peter Klunk Jr. from Hanover Herald, June 24,
1837. (I think that is St. Joseph's Church (Hanover) death record.
I got a copy of the info from Charles R. Wood's book, but DAR would like to
see the original information, even though he sources his book.
Any help you guys can be would be appreciated. I found 1 other DAR member
who went in under Peter Jr. & Elizabeth Weber, but it was from another son,
so none of the sources help me any.
Let me know what is available, I'd be happy to pay for copies & postage.

I finally found Earl Cole in the 1920 census. This is the correct 2nd
husband for Mary Adda Clunk daughter of James C. Clunk & Harriet Carlisle
His correct name is Harry Earl Cole b. c. 1876 He lists his age as 34
in 1920 they lived at 940 W. Federal St., Youngstown, Mahoning, OH & he was a
brakeman for the Rail Road.
His wife is listed as Mary E not Mary Adda and it shows her age as 42 (this
is incorrect, but she probably didin't tell him her true age as he was
younger)
Mary Adda's daughter from her first marriage is living with them. Her real
name is Cecil Elizabeth Burrows. The census people have her listed as Cecil
E. Rose. Her age is correct, 20, she was born Feb 18, 1899 & the census is
as of 1-1-1920 & she is working as a book keeper in a bank.
I don't know who the Ira Cole was that you had on a previous mailing, but
that was not the second husband of Mary Adda Clunk. This is the correct one.
