Beginning March 2nd, 2020 the Mailing Lists functionality on RootsWeb will be discontinued. Users will no longer be able to send outgoing emails or accept incoming emails. Additionally, administration tools will no longer be available to list administrators and mailing lists will be put into an archival state.
Administrators may save the emails in their list prior to March 2nd. After that, mailing list archives will remain available and searchable on RootsWeb
Hi Marie
It's an incredible co-incidence but there was
another Cluney enquiry on the list this week as
you are probably aware.
I'll copy my reply to the other one so you can see what the score is
Regards
Brian

Hi Stephen
My GGGGGrandfather, I believe, was Thomas CLUNIE,
who married Joan PROUDFOOT, and they had among
others a son, Robert CLUNIE who married Marjory
MACFARLANE in 1794.
Their son William married Mary MACDONALD in 1837
in Perth Scotland and they had a son , Robert,
who emigrated to New Zealand and there married
Mary Ann CLUNIE in Oamaru in 1865.
Their son Ebenezer married Jane Rogerson VEITCH
in 1895 in Melbourne Victoria Australia and they
had a son Herbert, who was my father.
Do you thinkl there might be a connection ?
Regards
Brian
