Beginning March 2nd, 2020 the Mailing Lists functionality on RootsWeb will be discontinued. Users will no longer be able to send outgoing emails or accept incoming emails. Additionally, administration tools will no longer be available to list administrators and mailing lists will be put into an archival state.
Administrators may save the emails in their list prior to March 2nd. After that, mailing list archives will remain available and searchable on RootsWeb
Caren,
I'm very excited that you have a scanner and are willing to share
photos of Eupprasia Clugstons. How do I get on the "send photo' list ?
Are you familiar with Shutterfly.com ? It is a web based company which
allows you to upload photos to web space. From there your recipients can a)
view the photos, b) download them to their own computer or c) order
hardcopies of any they like through Sutterfly - pay by credit card and have
them sent to their home address. They do a very good job at reasonable
rates.
This may be less time consuming for you. You can group photos into "albums"
and once your "album" is complete you can publicise them to your receiver
lists. You need not send emails with the large photo files attached. For the
recipients its nice to be able to order hardcopy photographs.
I'll post a Clugston photo for you to see for yourself.

Greetings from the list owner, with appologies for a long absence from activity.
Following a move, a broken hard drive, and other demanding things to do, I've aquired a scanner.
I've made contact with the Grey County Museum and embarked on a project to scan and send dozens (if not hundreds!) of photo's pertaining to the area - including Euphasia Clugstons.
If any of you are interested in veiwing these I would welcome your e-mail address to the 'send photo' list. We could also use help in identifying most.
Any of you who live in the area may be interested in helping at the recieving end - and may know local & related seniors in the area who have good memories who could help I.D. them.
I'll do about a dozen each weekend.
Let me know,
