Beginning March 2nd, 2020 the Mailing Lists functionality on RootsWeb will be discontinued. Users will no longer be able to send outgoing emails or accept incoming emails. Additionally, administration tools will no longer be available to list administrators and mailing lists will be put into an archival state.
Administrators may save the emails in their list prior to March 2nd. After that, mailing list archives will remain available and searchable on RootsWeb

Thank you so much for this website. I know this problem to be true as it's on the news and in the newspapers. I didn't know about this site. My results were green -- thank God!
Thanks again,
Barb

Subject: [CLUFF] Monday, July 9 Malware Issue Could Cause You to Lose Access to the Internet
Cluff Subscribers,
You may read the whole story in a PC Magazine article at:
http://www.pcmag.com/article2/0,2817,2406720,00.asp
Or to make a long story short, you should double check your DNS settings before Monday, July 9 or you could lose access to the Internet.
1. Go to: http://http://www.dns-ok.us/
2. If it shows the color green, your machine is OK. You need not do anything more.
3. If it shows the color red, you need to visit http://www.dcwg.org/cleanup.html for information on how to address this problem.
You may have seen reports about this on TV today. It is no hoax. This is real.
Later...Nancy
