For seven long years a fierce battle has raged across Canada to gain
public
release of the 1911 National Census of Canada.
An Act of Parliament passed third reading in the Canadian House of
Commons
toward the end of June, amending the Statistics Act and thereby
authorizing
the National Archivist to make the long-awaited 1911 Census records
available for full and unrestricted public access.
Today, several weeks ahead of schedule, images of the entire 1911 Census
of
Canada has just been posted on the Library and Archives Canada website.
Although this census has not yet been indexed, the on-line images allow
any
family historian to browse the census records by Province, County,
Township
and District. So, if you know the approximate area where your ancestors
were
living in 1911, a short hunt through the on-line images will likely lead
you
right to their family household listing.
The census page images can be VIEWED or DOWNLOADED directly from the
ArchiviaNet website in either Adobe Acrobat or Mr. Sid format.
For more information about the 1911 Census of Canada and to search for
your Canadian ancestors or family relations go to the following web

I, too, have the book you mention but nothing more on Rebecca and Moses. Perhaps you can find more from the Daughters of Utah Pioneers at http://www.dupinternational.org. They have a collection of histories of people who came with the handcarts (before the railroad). Go to History Department, then go to History Card Index and search Cluff. You can also go to Request Form where you can order histories for Moses and/or Rebecca since they appear on the search list. Good Luck!

Do you have any information on Moses Cluff's wife, Rebecca Culey Langman. They married in December 1856. Rebecca was on the Willie Handcart Company, and I would like to get information about her experience. My husband decends through Moses's wife, Eliza Langman (Rebecca's sister). Thanks.

Do you have any information on Rebecca Culey Langman Cluff who married Moses Cluff (son of David Cluff and Betsy Hall). My mother-in-law has the Cluff FamilyJournal Rearranged in 1994 which has a one page history, but I would like a little more on her. Thanks.
