Jan,
Thank you so much for the wonderful information! I am sure I should be able to complete my application with the resources you provided me.
I have been a Prospective with the Point Vicente Chapter here in Southern California for some time. The registrar helped me get a copy of the application of a member who used Zaccheus as her patriot, but that was all the help I got. I have also subscribed to ancestry.com and have the U.S. Census linking David and Orson, but was stumped with proving Zaccheus/William and William/David. Again, thank you so much for compiling the rest of the proof I needed.
Debbie

Hi. I am new to this, so I just read your post of October 2000. I attended the 1995 Cluff Reunion in Utah, but didn't make the 2000 reunion in Arizona (my parents did, though). My understanding is that this wonderful event is held every five years. Our "cousin" Dewey has passed the torch to someone else while he and his wife Kathy are on a mission.
I, too, am a descendant of Orson! Who is your husband's ancestor? My grandfather, George Leo, was a son of Orson, born November 25, 1887.

Hi. My grandfather, George Leo Cluff, was born November 25, 1887, in Provo, Utah County, Utah. Could this be the George you are looking for?
