Beginning March 2nd, 2020 the Mailing Lists functionality on RootsWeb will be discontinued. Users will no longer be able to send outgoing emails or accept incoming emails. Additionally, administration tools will no longer be available to list administrators and mailing lists will be put into an archival state.
Administrators may save the emails in their list prior to March 2nd. After that, mailing list archives will remain available and searchable on RootsWeb
I will be in Union City the first weekend of December. I will check with he
"cousins" to see what else I can discover. If possible I will visit Grace at
Canecreek, it is not far from Union City.

Hi Hugh.
Judy Morehead in Cincinnati/Venice, Florida. Still checking the site, not a
lot of research at the moment, busy "retiring".
Have a good holiday season.

Hi Dorothy
I don't know much. I just found out last week that she had gone to Memphis
for heart surgery. I am not sure, but I think she is at home now. I have
refrained from calling because I wanted to know if she was up to callers or
not. I was not sure if I would have gotten through to her via her daughter,
Little Grace. I know that she is very protective of her mother. I will
call her tomorrow and maybe I will find out something.
I have moved back to Georgia, so I am no longer living close to Union City.
I will put a post out here when I found out anything. There are a few
people on here that want to know about her condition.
Thanks for asking and if I get to talk to her, I will share everyone's
concern.
Hugh
Hello everyone. Tom I have just gotten my books. I have written a book of
family stories. One story is about the Cloyes family. Book name is "As I
Have Been Told" It is 260 pages, has 110 pictures, hard bound, sewed binding.
Sells for $30 and $3.50 postage.
Hugh- Last time I called Grace I talked to her daughter and she was just
home from the hospital and the daughter made it sound very serious. Could
you let me know what happened?
Dorothy

Edith,
If you want to see a county by county results map go here:
http://www.realclearpolitics.com/Presidential_04/2004_County_Results_Fina...
to see how the particular area you are going into voted.
Family trees may be green, but then some are black:-)

Hugh,
Other have been checking in, but the list still seems to have fits and
starts. Hang in there, more will say hi.Of course, most just lurk and don't
say anything.

I'm still alive and well but so busy with the rest of my life that
genealogy is taking a back seat. Seems like all the lists are quiet
lately. Hope to get back to it after the holidays! Happy Thanksgiving to
all!
Am alive but not kicking. Not doing any Cloyes-related research these days--what I want to do on that line would involve a trip of a few hundred miles to do original research in courthouses in New York State, that black hole of blue state genealogy. (I couldn't resist the color-coding. But is upstate New York the red zone in a blue state? All these colors leave me confused. That's what I like about genealogy--it doesn't complain, whine or take sides, it just sits there...hiding but quiet. Anyhow, family trees are green, right?)

Hi
I am just checking to see who is still receiving from this site. Please let
me know if you are still checking this out and are doing any research.
Hugh Cloyes
The list has been so quiet for such a long time that I thought I'd say hi
and see it everyone has died and gone to the great genealogy site in the
sky, or you're still hanging around for His return.
Tom
Hi everyone,
I am testing my email address on the site. I have been away for a while.
How many people are still checking the site for info?
