Beginning March 2nd, 2020 the Mailing Lists functionality on RootsWeb will be discontinued. Users will no longer be able to send outgoing emails or accept incoming emails. Additionally, administration tools will no longer be available to list administrators and mailing lists will be put into an archival state.
Administrators may save the emails in their list prior to March 2nd. After that, mailing list archives will remain available and searchable on RootsWeb
Did a web search and came up with nothing, would be fun to know someone in
law enforcement that could run the plate and provide us with a name and
address.

Stephanie,
Sorry to hear about your dad, we're going through that here with mom who is
having lots of problems. Guess that happens when you get old. Haven't been
doing much with the genealogy, but am starting to dig back into it. Was
looking at the Josiah W. Cloyes/Cynthia Bostwick connection and it looks
really good that he was descended from Daniel Cloyes of New York. The town
of Paris is only 2-3 miles away from Sauquiot where Daniel was born. Just
saw that Daniel's son Daniel was born in Paris, so it is getting even
better that Josiah W. was Daniel Sr.'s son, now if we just had some proof!

I just got a map from the New England Historical Genealogical Society that
details the original land grants in Watertown Massachusetts, and there is
an entry for a J. Cloyse on it. You can get the map from them for $5.00
plus shipping.
