Beginning March 2nd, 2020 the Mailing Lists functionality on RootsWeb will be discontinued. Users will no longer be able to send outgoing emails or accept incoming emails. Additionally, administration tools will no longer be available to list administrators and mailing lists will be put into an archival state.
Administrators may save the emails in their list prior to March 2nd. After that, mailing list archives will remain available and searchable on RootsWeb
The Clooz program sounds like it may help some of us who have stacks of
paper scattered throughout their house.

Carolyn,
I'm still digesting the information about this, and feel that it would be
fun to get others involved to see what their perspectives would be on this.
It looks like there are many more Cloyes family members that we didn't even
know about until now, and I'm curious to see if anyone has information that
might link these new additions in their proper place in the line.

Just finished entering all those names I found in the IGI in all the
counties of England. The total number came to 404, and you'd be surprised
at some of the potential relationships. For instance, the was a John Claise
who fathered children whose evident birthdate is about 1540! In the file, I
took the liberty of attaching him with Peter b.1539 as a brother. There is
another possible brother of Peter, that being a Ralph Cleys b. abt. 1545.
These birthdates are estimates based upon their children's earliest
birthdates.
If anyone would like a copy, email me with your file requirements, and I'll
send you one. This is quite interesting!
