Hi-
I have a teeny Cloyde line that I would love to expand. John Cloyde was born Oct.31.1816 in Chichester, England. Sometime between 1816 and 1844 he came to America. He then married Emeline Goodenough (Goodnow) in 1844 in Van Buren, Michigan. They had two children: Sarah Ann (Mar.12.1845 Chicago) and Andrew Jackson (Sep.27.1846 Chicago). Emeline passed away in 1846 and John remarried to Rhoda Stowell in 1849 Chicago. Sometime between then and 1880 they moved to Boone County, Nebraska, where John died Dec.3.1882.
Does anyone have John in their listings? Does he have some siblings and/or parents that came to America with him? Is there a good resource for looking up 28 years worth of passenger lists?
Anything anyone has would be greatly appreciated!
Thanks!

John,
I wonder if we are working on the same family! Do you have a daughter Lydia B. Cloyd listed for your Newton? My Lydia was born in 1825 in North Carolina. She married a Zornes while living in Indiana and according to census (as a Zornes) was born in NC. What do you think?
