I do not know. I only know that my relative, Effie Morgan, was married to a Thomas Cloyd. She was born & raised in Illinois & was also married in Illinois. I don't know where Thomas was from.
Hello. I'm not sure how or why I am on your list of messages. Perhaps I took a chance with the Cloyd name. My Cloyd is James Cloyd, as well as his sisters Margaret Cloyd Nash and Polly Cloyd Lockridge. I have only one reference to him in KY in his will, which named both Margaret and Polly. This was dated 1804. Do you know where your Cloyd line originated? VA? PA?

I don't believe your Effie is the same one as my Effie. My Effie Morgan was born in Illinois -- there were no twins in that family. However, I'll keep you posted if anyone else responds to my message that might be related to you. Thanks for responding.
Do you know anything about Effie? I have an Effie Morgan born in June 1887 in Texas in my family tree. She had 9 brothers and sisters including two sets of twins.
