Laura, I am not a direct relation to the family, my husbands mother was a CLOW, her father was George, son of Henry Clow, who was a son of Jacob(1849 and died after 1930) and Sarah Rodgers. I last found Jacob and his family in Pottsdam 1930 census, their oldest son was Jacob Jr b ca 1872 who was a commercial photographer, Charles Juen once worked for him.
Sarah was born ca 1875 and was a widow by 1930 but at home with her dad.
There were 3 children that died as infants...Elizabeth 1876, Leonard 1881 and Arthur 1883...just wanted to mention them.
Hamilton was b 1890, and in 1930 was general manager of a mens wear store in Pottsdam.
Jacob Sr was son of John Clow and Cynthia Schermerhorn, who were buried in Pritchard Cemetery in Sumner, Gratiot Mich.
I believe my info is pretty accurate, hope it helps you.
