MRS. WILLIAM CLOW
DECEMBER 10, 1897
The death of Mrs. William Clow, of Forrest, which occurred on Friday morning, December 3, at the home of the family in Forrest, was announced in these columns last week.
Nellie A. Clow was the only daughter of Mr. and Mrs. O. Sanford, of this city. She was born on December 8, 1850, in Grundy county, and came with her parents to this county, locating in Pleasant Ridge township, and in 1859 removed to Ford county, residing southeast of this place. In 1863 our subject was united in marriage with John Heaton, the result of the union being one son and one daughter, the former having died in infancy, and the latter, Laura A. Boucher, now residing in Forrest. On August 7, 1879, she was married to William H. Clow, and in 1881 removed from this place to Forrest, where she has since resided. The result of the second union was a son and a daughter, Homer E., aged seventeen, and Ivy Fern, aged eight.
The funeral services were held on Sunday morning at Forrest and the remains laid to their final rest in the Chatsworth cemetery.

I think I might have the Lucas family (of which I'm a descendent) your looking for, as I have the same couple in my tree. Feel free to take a look the Lucases in my tree. I'd love to hear more about the Clow's as well though, since all I know is that Rebecca was born sometime around 1814 (so your date looks close enough), married Samuel, and had parents who were born in Germany.
