Has anyone discovered who Phillip Clover's wife Elizabeth really was?
Thanks!

Looking for descendants of Sam and Emma CLOVER. They had three children William, Evelyn and Irene. Emma was born in Gallipolis, OH on 5 Jul 1859[?] or 1860. She was the daughter of Jacob D. WHITE and Rebecca Jane (COOPER) and half sister of my great grandmother Elzina Margaret (WHITE) MARSHALL. Evelyn married John LUCAS and Irene was married to Arthur SHORT. Sam and Emma lived in Lima, OH for awhile where Sam worked as a railroad engineer. I have family photos and information for descendants.

The particular William Clover to which you refer was actually a son of Jacob Clover of Putnam County, Ohio. He was a son of Henry Clover of Franklin County, Ohio. William was born ca. November 1835, died 13 May 1903, buried in Hillcrest Cemetery, Kosciusko County, Indiana. His tombstone reads Co C, 185 OH Inf. William was married to Henrietta Chaplin.

Message Board Post:
There is a William Clover buried in Hillcrest Cemetery in Kosciusko County, Indiana. He served in Co. G, 185th Ohio Infantry during the Civil War. This company mustered out of Camp Chase in Franklin County, Ohio. I have two William Clovers close to the same age in my family history fromt he Franklin Ohio area, but I don't know which of these two Williams this one might be (if either!) Any help would be appreciated!!!
Is he William, son of Aaron Clover (1810-1871) and Sarah (Atha?) Clover (1818-1861) or.....
William, son of Solomon Clover (1794-1867) and Effie Widner Clover (1807-1875)?
Thanks in advance,
Christy Royse Miller
