Beginning March 2nd, 2020 the Mailing Lists functionality on RootsWeb will be discontinued. Users will no longer be able to send outgoing emails or accept incoming emails. Additionally, administration tools will no longer be available to list administrators and mailing lists will be put into an archival state.
Administrators may save the emails in their list prior to March 2nd. After that, mailing list archives will remain available and searchable on RootsWeb
Just some food for thought on all of this. John Peter Clover's estate was in NJ prior to 1770. Since the Clarion County part of PA was not settled at that time, it is hard to think that he would have been buried in PA. This would also assume that John Peter Clover was buried there before his children moved there. He never moved there, in fact, his wife, Catherine, was still alive in NJ after 1780.
Since his estate was settled in NJ prior to 1770, I don't think that he died in PA in 1831. This is another Clover.
I understand the confusion as I have myself constant been confused by the numbers of John Clovers and Peter Clovers who have lived here. I often feel that I need a score card to tell them apart.
It may be heresy to say so, but Robert Frampton was told a lot of things that were not quite true. He did not, for example, know about the NJ estate records. He was a victim of other people's errors. Then many people quote him erroneously. So there are some small errors in what has been quoted here.

Diane,
I will be glad to send it to you, although I saw now mention of a Collins
Clover in it. It is in Adobe format, so I will send it to your personal
email.

There is a book called "Children of John Metler Clover", author unknown,
available for viewing through Heritage Quest. The book was taken from the
Clover files compiled by Robert Frampton, Historian & Genealogist, and later
contribution was made by Carrie Banyard.
Page 1 begins as follows:
John Peter Clover.

Int. Ceceder Cemetery, Mechanicsville, Pennsylvania.
M. Catherine Sharpe, 1747 or 1750. in Holldand, D. 1798.

It goes on to say later that they are both buried in Ceceder Cemetery at the
top of Brush Run, near Mechanicsville, PA.

I have correct information on Germany born John Peter Clover that was born in 1728 in Germany and died in 1831 in Clarion County,Pennsylvania. He is buried in an cemetery that would most likely be the founders of Clarion County. The name of the cemetery is The Old New Rehobeth Cemetery,or some times called the Secedar Cemetery located in Mechansville,Clarion County,Pennsylvania.Himself and wife Catherine Sharpe Clover are buried there. Also please note that they do not have gravestones in the cemetery, unknown reasons why but there are many without stone now.
Got more info:
The Clover Family
About 1752, John Peter Clover, with his wife, Catherine Sharpe, a native of Holland, immigrated from Prussia to America and settled at Clover Hill in New Jersey, arriving at Port Philadelphia on September 15, 1752
John Peter Clover was a native of Prussia, who decided to immigrate to America. He was a blacksmith and there was a law in Prussia that blacksmiths were not allowed to leave the country. He, in some way, evaded the officials and with his wife, Catherine Sharpe who was a native of Holland, came to America in 1752. They settled at a place now known as Clover Hill, in Unterdon County, New Jersey. They had a family of eleven children. At the time of settling at Clover Hill, the indians were numerous and hostile. The Clover family took their rifles with them to the fields in case of a sudden attack from the woods. It was in the midst of these surroundings that the family of John Peter Clover was raised. At the outbreak of the Revolutionary War, the sons were young men and served in the army of both states. At just what time the family crossed the Delaware into Pennsylvania is not known, but the finally immigrated west. From Cumberland County, they came to Mifflin County, and then!
finally to Clarion County Pennsylvania in 1814. They resided there until the death of John Peter Clover in 1831. No data of his wife has been secured, but both are buried in the Cecedar Cemetery at the top of Brush Run, near Mechanicsville, Pennsylvania.

After the death of his father, John Peter Clover, and according to Old English Law, Peter Clover inherited all the property and the other children were forced to shift for themselves. Paul Clover, second son of John Peter Clover, was the first settler in Pike Township, Clearfield County, Pennsylvania. Like his father he was a blacksmith, but later sold his blacksmith shop and engaged in the hotel business at what is now known as Curwensville, Pennsylvania. He was living there at the time of his death from cancer of the lip. He had six sons and five daughters. After his death, his widown, Nancy Metler Clover, went to Clarion County Pennsylvania where others of the family settled and a few years later with five of her sons and one daughter immigrated to the state of Indiana and settled on the Wabash River, near Clinton in Vermillion County, Indiana. Here Mrs. Clover and three of her sons died. One son and one daughter went to Galveston, Texas, where after a number of years, Bo!
th passed away. Another son located in Grundy County, Illinois, where he died and his children, ten in number, are scattered through the west.
