Thank you very much,

I am sure that the following is not exhaustive. However, you asked and as

Does anyone have a list of women who have joined the DAR from the Clover family? I am interested in finding out if Jane Baker Jones who was Mrs. Enoch Jones was a DAR member through Philip Clover of Clarion county? Are there any other DAR members thru Philip Clover and Mary Cooper?
Jane Baker was d/o James Baker & Catherine Jones
Catherine Jones was d/o Isaiah or Isiah Jones and
Margaret? need Margaret's maiden name.
Isaih Jones s/o Catherine Clover and John Jones.
Catherine Clover d/o Philip Clover & Mary Cooper.
I wanted to tell everyone that I updated the Clover Family Page at:
http://members.aol.com/junebyr/index.html It has some new information on it.
I hope that there might be something that will help someone out there.
If I can help anyone, please ask.

How cute. Do I understand it correctly that there is a higher percentage of
Clovers in Montana than in any other state? Obviously not a higher number,
just a higher percentage. What an oddity.

I have extracted the Arkansas Clovers in the 1850-1960-1870 Censuses. However, the only families I have are those which were in the indexes.
I mention this because I have looked through what I have and did not find a Zelpha Clover born ca. 1860 in 1860 or in 1870. I also checked my extracted censuses for Hanna or Elizabeth any age for her mother.
What I did find was a Zelpha Clover female aged 53, born KY, as head of household in 1860 in Clark Co, Sourth Fork Twp. In her household was an Isham Clover, male, age 23, born AR. There was also a Drusilla Clover age 12, born AR.
In 1870, Clark County, Cold Bath Twp, page 269:
Isham Clover 36 farmer AR
Leannah [Hanna maybe?] 36 AR
Sophrina (Zelpha maybe?] 9 AR
John 7 AR
Frances 5 AR
Hendrick 1/12 Feb AR
C. Delpha 60 KY [possibly Delpha C. = Zelpha Clover]
Drusilla 19 AR
I am of the opinion that this is the family you should be researching. The origins of this family are not clear. In the 1850 census, there is a Hendrick White, born NC aged 67 with Isham Clover aged 15 AR in the household. There is also a Priscilla. He does not appear to have a wife. There were several other children.
Hope that this moves you a little farther down the trail. If I can be of further assistance, please contact me personally.
