Hi my name is Karen and I am the decendent of the Cloutier family. I am looking for information on a woman by the name of Marie Cloutier born 1812, on Drummond Island, both parents are unknown. She was married in 1828 to a man named Joseph Messier, we think on Drummod Island. Joseph Messier was born 1801, in Sorel Quebec, both parents unknown as well. Joseph was mentioned in THE MIGRATION 0F VOYAGEURS FROM DRUMMOND ISLAND
TO PENETANGUISHENE IN 1828.
Also, I am looking far information on a gentleman by the name of Charles Cloutier. The only information I have on him was that he was married to an Indian woman by the name Monedoqua. They were both mentioned in the TREATY WITH THE CHIPPEWA, 1826.
Any information about this would be greatly appreciated.
I hope to learn a lot from the is!
Warm regards,
Karen Cochran
